Puppy Preschool Class
The PERFECT starting point for your new baby puppy!
This is the first class we recommend taking your pup through.
Puppy Class is designed for puppies up to 16 weeks of age**. This class helps set a strong foundation for a new life together with your puppy!
Learn how to handle and train your young pup at home and in many types of different environments.
Set your pup on a path to confidence in knowing what to do by introducing and rewarding good behaviors rather than correcting undesirable puppy traits.
Class is a great opportunity for controlled socialization with new people, other pups, new surroundings and objects! Our aim is to teach them how to take in new experiences with minimal fear and excitement!
Attend class for 6 consecutive weeks on the same day/time each week. Class is ongoing with revolving themes. Therefore when one puppy graduates, a spot is open for a new pup to start! This is beneficial as the wait time to start is decreased and the socialization is more diverse.
Class registration comes with a video orientation covering some very common puppy issues as well as additional things to consider before you get started.
We're currently running classes on:
Thursdays at 6pm
Saturdays at 10:30am
Sundays at 3pm
Contact us with your puppy's age/birthdate, vaccination status and any day preferences and we will inform you of the next possible start date!
Please let us know if you plan to attend with more than 2 family members.

(If you'd like to start class sooner or at a different day/time than what is available please don't hesitate to contact us as we can start a new class with a minimum of 2 puppies!)

*Save $10 if you register before your puppy comes home!
*Please ensure your puppy is between 8-16 weeks at their start date.
**Puppies must all have age appropriate boosters before attending class and should have had at least one check up with their new vet. (Stickers from breeder logs are not sufficient.) Are you fostering to adopt from a shelter such as UPAWS? These pups often return to the shelter for continued vaccines, we do accept these with a vaccine record from them.
Puppies must also be set up on a schedule to continue vaccinations with their vet.
Bordetella is highly recommended but not given to all dogs. If you should choose to vaccinate for it you'll need to request it at your appointment.
Kinderpups Class
Kinderpups class is ideal for:
-Recent Puppy Preschool graduates as a next step
-Puppies between 4-9 months old* and/or adult dogs just getting started with training in group classes.
Class is guided by the Pet Dog Ambassador Assessments Level One for this class.

This class helps set goals to maintain a strong foundation for life together with your dog.
Work as a team with your dog to learn good basic training skills, manners, & early walking skills.
We also cover the importance of using a marker, health, safety, and bonding with your dog.
Class can be a great opportunity to work on listening despite distractions.
Class meets for 6 consecutive weeks on the same day/time that it began and is approximately 45-50minutes.
We keep class sizes small to allow working room in our space and give each team personal attention. (Max 4-5 dogs)
*Dogs over 4 months old will be asked to complete a free 10 minute meet & greet to ensure they will excel in a group class and/or to determine placement.

The average wait for classes is typically 2-4 weeks from being added to the list.

Elementary Dogs Class
Elementary Dogs is a good class for:
-Dogs with some previous training skills and/or dogs who are just starting their training journey with us*.
-Kinderpup Class Graduates to continue working on their next level achievements.
Class is guided by the Pet Dog Ambassador Assessments Levels 2/3 and up. (If you think your dog may qualify for a higher level class you must formally pass the PDA Level 2 Assessment via a private session before joining the next class.)

Work as a team with your dog to learn/reinforce basic cues, manners, & walking skills.
We also cover the importance of using a marker, health, safety, enrichment, and bonding with your dog.
Class always allows time for Q&A and troubleshooting common training issues.
Class can be a great opportunity to work on listening despite distractions.
Class meets for 6 consecutive weeks on the same day/time that it began and is approximately 45-50minutes.
We keep class sizes small to allow working room in our space and give each team personal attention.
*Dogs who haven't worked with us before will be asked to complete a free 10 minute meet and greet to determine the best class placement.
Registration is $165
Higher level Junior Dog classes available to dogs who have demonstrated the PDA level 2 skills either thru completing elementary dogs or by being independently tested in a private session.
To ensure best practices and use of time and space, all classes are filled solely by wait list.

Want class but listed options don't work for you? We can sometimes hold classes outside our regular hours with enough interest.
Tricks Class
Join in the fun of a trick class taught by Erin and/or Rick our very own Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI)!
Work with your dog to earn their very own "Novice Trick Dog" or higher title from Do More With Your Dog and/or AKC Trick Dog Titles!
This class is for anyone looking to:
Have fun with their Dog
Work on their dog training skills
Build or maintain a great relationship with their pooch
Earn some awesome Tricks titles for your pup!
Next Class TBD by interest (and occur at least once quarterly)

Classes are 6 weeks total
